About

Humans are disproportional. Nature sprouts up in the crevices. Clothes look better on paper. We all could use more flexible bodies, senses of humor, access to nature, and options for living.

My goal as an illustrator is to summarize how I see this world - what is funny, fretful, dreamy, bizarre, or beautiful (hello, canyon wren). My imagination is huge and hidden, and drawing is one of the quickest ways I know how to express it.

Most of my work is done using pen and ink, though I explore other mediums on the side - woodblock printing, metal sculpture, painting. Sometimes I render drawings digitally and very occasionally illustrate poems (secret dream job).

I currently live in Austin, Texas in a beautiful red house that my beautiful husband bought decades ago and never stopped pouring love into. While we heart our home base, we also like to experience new environments and frequently day dream about how to move around this world as much as possible (other dream job - migratory bird).

If you enjoy what I make, don’t hesitate to reach out!
