A series of still life drawings mostly inspired by what is found while walking in Texas. Except for the Tilia leaf. That is easier to find in the Midwest, and I illustrated this as a commission for the curator of Sam Houston State’s Natural History Museum.
Inspired by the wood engravings of, Paul Landacre, this series explores the craft of woodblock printing using the ever-wonderful subjects of nature: the canyon wren, the pine cone from the Dolomites, moss on a live oak twig, and the great garden snail. A limited series of first press prints are available, as well as magnets.
Size: Prints - 12”x18” ; Magnets - 5”x6”(wren), 2”x2”(snail), 8”long(twig)
This electroluminescent light is a conceptual piece. Inspired by renewables and wearables, my goal was to create a product that was useful, ecological, and beautiful. The O Chroma light consists of two individual panels that recharge while docked in the wooden base. Each panel is coated with translucent silicon, providing flexibility, so it can bend and attach to a wrist, a bag, or a hook.
